Microphone Power Supply

The Professional Sound Corporation MP-12T Microphone Power Supply started it all. This was PSC's first product and continues to be one of our most popular with thousands in use worldwide. The PSC MP-12T operates from two 9V batteries and will power all "12T" (AB) style microphones. It contains a three way, user selectable pad to provide 0dB, -10dB and -20 dB of attenuation. This is especially useful in matching microphone gain to the preamplifier of your recorder or mixer. Another important feature of the PSC MP-12T is the three way, user selectable high pass filter. This filter is excellent for reducing the effects of wind noise and low frequency rumble. The filter rolls off the low end, starting from approximately 130 Hz at 12dB per octave. The cut frequencies are user selectable, allowing the user to choose the severity of the cut required for the conditions present.
