Alpha Mix
Expansion Module
Provides 8 channels for the same
price as our
competitors four channel mixer!
Only PSC offers 8 channels in an
ENG format mixer!

Professional Sound Corporation® is pleased to
announce the upcoming release of the AlphaMix Expansion Module.
This add on module is designed to work with all existing AlphaMix's
as well as all new units sold. It expands the AlphaMix's
capabilities from four inputs to eight inputs allowing the AlphaMix
to be used as a stand alone mixer for larger, more complicated
productions such as reality television shows. The AlphaMix was
designed from day one to be able to be expanded and included an
expansion port for this reason. With the creation of the AlphaMix
Expansion Module, the wait for more than four inputs is finally
over. No more ganging two mixers together using external cables and
having to carry around all of the extra weight. The AlphaMix
Expansion Module is here and it's only from Professional Sound
Corporation®.
Installation is simple. You need only to remove
the top cover of the AlphaMix, connect a ribbon cable to the
expansion socket and re-assemble the top cover/expansion module
assembly. Installation time should be approximately 10 minutes.
The AlphaMix Expansion Module provides
four additional inputs each featuring:
Balanced
mini XLR inputs
Very
low noise microphone pre-amps (1nV/root/Hz)
Continuously variable gain
on a handy push pot
Active low cut filters
(12dB per octave)
Channel assignment
switches (L, Center, R)
Bright 3 LED meters for
level setting (-20dB, -6dB, 0dB)
High quality conductive
plastic fader
Individual balanced line
outputs (direct outs)
